AI Visibility
See whether AI systems actually name and cite your brand.
AI Visibility measures whether AI answer engines name and cite your brand, reported as mention rate, citation rate and share of voice. It is a different measurement from search ranking: ScanDepth sends a fixed set of prompts to each configured engine and records what comes back.
Sample report
Sample reportIllustrative values. Real figures come from the engines configured for your audit, recorded at the time the audit ran.
What it is not
Three things this measurement will not tell you.
Not a ranking
There is no position to hold in an AI answer. The measurement is whether you were named and cited, not where.
Not a guarantee
No audit can make an engine mention you. ScanDepth reports what the engines said and what in your pages is likely holding it back.
Not monitoring
An audit is a point in time. There is no daily tracking, no history and no trend line, because nothing here stores one.
The three rates
What each number counts.
Three separate questions. A brand can score well on one and poorly on the next.
Mention rate
How often the brand is named at all across the prompt set. Being named is the floor. It says the engine knows the brand exists in this category, and nothing yet about trust.
Citation rate
How often the answer attributes something to the site itself. This is the harder one. A brand can be mentioned constantly and cited never, which usually means the pages are known but not quotable.
Share of voice
How much of the answer space the brand holds against everyone else the engine named. It is relative. A rising mention rate can sit beside a falling share when a category gets busier.
The Free Scan does not measure AI Visibility.
It crawls up to 5 pages and runs the deterministic checks, and it makes no AI provider call at all. AI Visibility is reported as Not measured — never as zero. It is included in every Full Audit, from $75.
